Definitions

Personal Liability

This will cover client’s legal costs due to accidents while participating in sport they are held responsible for resulting in death, bodily injury, or damage to a third parties property.

Accidental Death

A lump sum payable in the event of an accident while participating in sport resulting in the client’s death.

Permanent Loss of Limb(s)

A lump sum payable in the event of an accident while participating in sport resulting in the client’s permanent loss of a limb due to amputation.

Permanent loss of sight

A lump sum payable in the event of an accident while participating in sport resulting in the client’s permanent loss of sight in one or both eyes.

Permanent loss of hearing

A lump sum payable in the event of an accident while participating in sport resulting in the client’s permanent loss of sight in one or both eyes.

Permanent disablement

A lump sum payable in the event of an accident while participating in sport resulting in the client’s permanent disablement.

Temporary Total Disablement

Available to clients as a cash benefit monthly after the first 30 days spent being unable to work due to an accident occurring while participating in covered sporting activity.

Fracture benefit

A lump sum one-off payment payable in the event of an accident while participating in sport resulting in the client fracturing a bone in their Leg, Hip, Pelvis, Collarbone, Arm, Elbow, Wrist, Skull, Hand, Foot, Finger or Toe.

Dislocation benefit

A lump sum one-off payment payable in the event of an accident while participating in sport resulting in the client dislocating a joint in the ankle, knee, hip, spine, wrist, or elbow.

Torn ligament benefit

A lump sum one-off payment payable in the event of an accident while participating in sport resulting in the client tearing ligaments.

Physiotherapy benefit

Available to clients to support with the cost of rehabilitation and the treatment an injury occurred while participating in covered sporting activity.

Dental benefit

Available to clients to support with the cost of dental treatment required due to an accident occurring while participating in covered sporting activity.

Season Ticket benefit

Reimbursement due to not being able to use a pre purchased ticket due to injury e.g. Monthly Train pass

Hospital overnight stay benefit

Available to clients as a cash benefit for each individual night (up to a maximum of 10 nights) spent in hospital due to requiring treatment relating to an accident occurring while participating in covered sporting activity.

Consultant benefit

Available to clients to support with the cost of consultant fees for treatment or review of an injury sustained due to an accident that occurred while participating in covered sporting activity.
